Sally has been photographing in and around Portland for over 20 years. She loves to observe and interpret the built environment and is motivated to reveal beauty and delight in every assignment.

After earning her BA in Radio/TV/Film from the University of Georgia, she gravitated toward architectural photography while working at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. She moved to San Francisco and became the staff photographer for the architecture firm Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz, traveling all over the West Coast and Hawaii photographing their work. She moved to Portland in 1990 and worked for Fletcher Farr Ayotte before striking out on her own.   

Sally has 2 teenage boys and loves to bike, play tennis and run – she ran her first Portland Marathon in 2010. She finds living in Portland with its close proximity to water, trees and mountains a constant source of inspiration and joy.
